The Children of Asia International Sports Games were inspired by the fast growth of the popular mass sports including the children’s and youth sports the world over. The Games are conducted with the aim of promoting ideas of the Olympic Movement, development of children and youth sports, and strengthening international sports competition.
V Children of Asia International Sports Games - 2012
The V Children of Asia International Sports Games were held on the Russian Presidential Decree on July 4-16, 2012; and the athletes competed in 20 sport disciplines including (for the first time) swimming, sambo and freestyle wrestling for hearing-impaired children. The V Children of Asia International Sports Games brought together 2841 junior athletes from 38 countries including Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bahrain, Bhutan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Irak, Iran, Yemen, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, China, Korean Republic, Kuwait, Laos, Maldives, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan and some others. The Chef De Mission of Maldives contingent for the Games was Ahmed Mubeen from Carrom Association of Maldives, and Deputy Chef De Mission was Raheema Adam from Badminton Association of Maldives.

IV Children of Asia International Sports Games - 2016
6th International Sports Games “Children of Asia” was held in Yakutsk from 6 to 16 July. Teams from the Russian regions, countries of Asia, members of the Olympic Council of Asia participated in the competitions. 1587 athletes from 30 countries participated and competed in 28 sports. The Chef De Mission of Maldives contingent for the Games was Yaznee Nasheedha from Athletics Association of Maldives. Yaznee Nasheedha was also awarded the ambassador of the games by its organizing committee.
