MOC AGA 2025
The Maldives Olympic Committee held its Annual General Assembly on February 19, 2025, with full participation from all 16 member associations. The Honorable Minister of Sports, Fitness, and Recreation, Abdulla Rafiu, attended as the chief guest. Also in attendance were the MOC President, Executive Committee members, the Commissioner of Sports, and representatives from the National Sports Council and the Commissioner of Sports’ office.
As the Assembly brought together key stakeholders in Maldivian sports, a moment of silence was observed in remembrance of notable sports figures who passed away last year, honoring their contributions and lasting impact on the sporting community.
Furthermore, in line with statutory requirements, the Assembly approved key documents, including the agenda, minutes of the 2024 AGA, the 2024 annual report, the 2024 expenditure report, and the 2025 budget. These approvals reflect the collective commitment to transparency, accountability, and the continued growth of sports in the Maldives.
To conclude the gathering, the national anthem was played, symbolizing unity and a shared dedication to the advancement of Maldivian sports.
