CGA Maldives Conducts Information Session for Team Maldives Ahead of Glasgow 2026
The Commonwealth Games Association (CGA) Maldives conducted an Information Session for Team Maldives as preparations continue for the Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2026.
The session provided athletes, coaches and officials with a comprehensive overview of key operational and logistical arrangements for the Games. Topics covered included travel and accommodation, competition operations, accreditation procedures, Games services, team protocols, and other essential information to ensure the delegation is well prepared ahead of departure.
The session was led by Chef de Mission Fazna Jaleel and CGA Maldives Secretary General Thamooh Ahmed Saeed, who outlined the roles and responsibilities of Team Maldives members and emphasized the importance of professionalism, discipline and teamwork throughout the Games.
Athletes, coaches and officials representing Athletics and Swimming attended the session, engaging in discussions and seeking clarification on various aspects of the Games to support their preparations.
The Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2026 will bring together athletes from across the Commonwealth, with Team Maldives continuing its final preparations to represent the nation with pride on the international stage.
