Maldives Olympic Committee’s (MOC) management met with the Asian Table Tennis Union (ATTU) President
Maldives Olympic Committee’s (MOC) management met with the Asian Table Tennis Union (ATTU) President Khalil Al-Mohannadi and its members today on 12 May, 2022.
The ATTU team visited Maldives for the South Asian Junior Cadet Table Tennis Championship (SAJCTTC) which was held from 9-11 May 2022.
During the meeting, Khalil Al-Mohannadi congratulated Maldives for the success achieved at the SAJCTTC 2022, and highlighted that the event was well organized by Table Tennis Association of Maldives.
The meeting with the ATTU saw a number of discussions, but the main area of focus was to foster more opportunities for the Maldives to host international competitions, specifically since the SAJCTCC proved Maldives has great potential in terms of infrastructure and talent.
On a different note, Khalil Al-Mohannadi also assured that he will work to improve the relationship between Qatar National Olympic Committee and MOC. This will
hopefully provide promising opportunities for the Table Tennis team of Maldives.
