Team Maldives Briefed Ahead of Asian Beach Games Sanya 2026
The Maldives Olympic Committeeconducted a team briefing session on 02 April 2026 for athletes and officials in preparation for the forthcoming Asian Beach Games Sanya 2026.
The session brought together members of Team Maldives on 02 April 2026 as preparations progress towards the Games.
Detailed information on Games-related arrangements, including travel, accommodation, competition schedules, and team coordination, was delivered by the Chef de Mission Ahmed Aushan.
A session on mental health awareness was conducted by Asiyath Nasooha, organisational psychologist and entrepreneur, focusing on the importance of psychological wellbeing in high-performance environments.
In addition, Secretary General Thamooh Ahmed Saeed delivered sessions on safe sport and the prevention of manipulation in competition, reinforcing key principles relating to athlete protection, integrity, and ethical conduct.
The briefing session forms part of the Maldives Olympic Committee’s ongoing preparations ahead of the Games.
