Maldives Olympic Committee (MOC) Announces Chef de Missions for 2023 Games
Malé, Maldives - June 12, 2023 - MOC is delighted to announce the appointment of Chef de Missions (CdMs) for the upcoming international sporting events in 2023. These accomplished individuals will lead and represent the Maldivian contingent, ensuring their successful participation and fostering the spirit of sportsmanship on the global stage.
Mr. Mohamed Jaushan Shareef has been appointed as the Chef de Mission for the ANOC World Beach Games, set to be held from August 5th to August 12th, 2023, in Bali, Indonesia.
Mr. Abdul Nafiu Thaufeeq will serve as the Chef de Mission for the Indian Ocean Island Games, taking place from August 25th to September 3rd, 2023, in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
Lastly, Mr. Abdul Ghafoor Abdul Hameed has been appointed as the Chef de Mission for the Asian Games, which will be held from September 23rd to October 8th, 2023, in Hangzhou, China.
