MOC participates in the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF) General Assembly
Thamooh Ahmed Saeed, the Secretary General of the Maldives Olympic Committee, actively participated in the Islamic Solidarity Sports Federation (ISSF) General Assembly held in Riyadh from November 28th to 29th, 2023.
During the General Assembly, Saudi Arabia was awarded the host country for the 2025 Islamic Solidarity Games. HRH Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, President of the Federation, warmly welcomed all countries to the event, considering the country as their "second home."
Significant developments took place during the Assembly, including the presentation and approval of the new logo for the Federation. Additionally, notable changes were made to the Constitution, reflecting the ongoing efforts to strengthen and enhance the Federation's operations.
In addition to his participation in the General Assembly, Thamooh Ahmed Saeed attended the opening ceremony of the Second edition of the Saudi Games.
