Sport Administrator & Team Management Course Kicks Off Under Joint MOC–MNIS Initiative
The Sport Administrator & Team Management Course, jointly organized by the Maldives Olympic Committee (MOC) and the Maldives National Institute of Sports (MNIS), officially commenced today. The program was inaugurated by the Honorable Minister of Sport, Fitness and Recreation, Abdulla Rafiu, who highlighted the importance of professional development in strengthening the nation’s sporting ecosystem.
This MQA-approved, month-long course is designed to enhance the skills and capacity of National Sports Associations (NSAs), with a particular focus on developing well-equipped Team Managers. Participants will undergo structured training covering key areas of administration, leadership, team operations, event coordination, and effective management practices essential for national and international sporting events.
By offering this course, the MOC and MNIS aim to build a more knowledgeable and capable workforce within the sports sector, ensuring that teams representing the Maldives are supported by trained professionals who can contribute to improved athlete performance and overall organizational excellence.
