Team Maldives embarked on their journey to Hangzhou, China, to partake in the 19th Asian Games. The first wave of the delegation, comprising the Games Chef de Mission, the Secretary General of the Maldives Olympic Committee, and key administrative staff, departed on September 17.
As anticipation builds for the sporting extravaganza, the Shooting and Table Tennis teams departed to join their compatriots in Hangzhou on September 19, aiming to showcase their prowess and compete at the highest level in their respective disciplines.
Following suit on September 20, the Basketball 3x3 squad, E-Sports enthusiasts, the Swimming team, and crucial members from the National Olympic Committee (NOC) departed to Hangzhou.
