Maldives Olympic Committee Attend ISSA 2024 General Assembly in Tirana, Albania
From December 16 to 18, 2024, Maldives Olympic Committee (MOC) President, Mohamed Abdul Sattar, and Secretary General, Thamooh Ahmed Saeed, participated in the Islamic Solidarity Sports Association (ISSA) 2024 Session and General Assembly held in Tirana, Albania. The Assembly served as an important platform for discussing key initiatives aimed at advancing sports development within the Islamic community.
The event addressed critical topics surrounding the promotion of sports as a means of fostering unity among member nations, with a particular focus on enhancing collaboration through shared sporting initiatives. During the sessions, various strategies to promote sports engagement, enhance performance, and facilitate broader access to athletic opportunities across Islamic nations were presented and deliberated upon.
