Handball Maldives, in cooperation with Maldives Olympic Committee (MOC) and International Olympic Committee conducted the Olympic Solidarity Technical Course for Coaches from 8-15 May 2022 in Malé, Maldives.
22 participants including 8 Females and 14 Males participated at the 8-day course, which was delivered by International Handball Federation (IHF) Commission of Coaching and Methods (CCM) Lecturer Mr. Peter Kovacs.
The Olympic Solidarity funded course covered topics ranging from selection, beginners training, juniors training, high level training, attack/counterattack/organized attack, defense, goalkeepers, planning for training, weight training and such.
Towards the end of the course, the coaches underwent practical and written examinations. The purpose of the exam was to evaluate the ability of each participant in terms of application. 15 out of the 22 participants who met the criteria was awarded IHF C-License.
MOC congratulates the 15 coaches who has obtained the C-License diploma.
