MOC Attends Chef de Mission Seminar for 6th Asian Indoor Martial Arts Games in Thailand
The Maldives Olympic Committee (MOC) delegation, led by Vice President Ahmed Ismail, Secretary-General Thamooh Ahmed Saeed, and Finance Director Ibrahim Azoor, participated in the Chef de Mission Seminar for the 6th Asian Indoor Martial Arts Games. The seminar, a crucial preparatory event for the Games, was held from 3 - 5, 2024, in Bangkok and Chonburi Province, Thailand.
During the official visit, the MOC officials visited some of the venues where different sports would be carried out during thr Games. They also engaged in discussions aimed at providing guidance and strategic planning for the Maldivian contingent's participation at the Games. Furthermore, they had the opportunity to network with officials from other participating countries, fostering international cooperation and sportsmanship.
The 6th Asian Indoor Martial Arts Games, scheduled to take place from November 21 - 30, 2024, in Bangkok and Chonburi, Thailand, will showcase the talents of athletes from across Asia.
